In my memories Sundays were for church, football and pot roast with Grandma. Gardening was huge in my family and pot roasts were the perfect way to feature the flavors of fall (and winter) and were great for sharing. “Everyone” grew up with a version of pot roast and we have kept many of the classic flavors - just gave the sides a twist by roasting potatoes and leeks in the sauce (vs mashed potatoes and gravy) and using the carrots mashed to stuff the delicata squash.
