Baba Ganoush is the passed over cousin of hummus. Chickpeas and tahini are the flavor base for a classic hummus; eggplant and tahini are the base of baba ganoush. I promise this sauce/dip/spread is every bit as good as hummus and no one should be intimidated by it. Our version is elevated by grilling the eggplant and giving it a good mix in a food processor. Great as a dip for veggies and flatbread, spread for a variety of sandwiches or in a “buddha” bowl with grain, veggies and protein.
